For some reason I am having trouble playing books I receive from RFBD on my Victor Stream. I am running the latest software update in my Victor Stream and I bought and downloaded my authorization key from RFBD so I could play their books on my machine. As far as I know I have successfully installed the authorization key into my Stream, but for some reason when I go to play my books, it will only read the first page of each chapter and nothing more. I don’t understand why it won’t read the other pages in the book when I’ve copied all of the files into my Stream. I have contacted both Human Ware and RFBD and so far no one has been able to help me. The person from Human Ware just told me to make sure I copied all the files and the person from RFBD told me I needed to contact someone from Human Ware. If someone on here could help me with my problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Oh, and there is no way that a complete chapter could be just one page in the books I am trying to read as they are college textbooks. So if anyone could help me out, that would be great as I’m really not quite sure where to go from here.
My guess, and perhaps you have already tried this, is that you may be stuck in loop mode. If your navigation is set to page, and you are in loop mode, this would cause the problem that you are having. Can you go to any other page in the book using the go to page option? And, you may want to try reinstalling the authorization key to make sure that is the problem. Even if it says it was accepted, readding it can't hurt anything. The only other thing I can recommend is to hold in the power button for 7 seconds so that the streme will reset itself. Beyond that, I have no other suggestions. I'm assuming you have tried this on more than 1 book with the same result.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I found a solution to my problem. Turns out I had to reset something in the stream using a special key combination. Anyways, thanks for the suggestions.
